Lilz

Lilly Kate Hillage (Lilz) studied Contemporary art at Bath Spa University graduating in 2013. She works with mixed media and focuses on themes of place and self. For Upfest's all female group show 'Illuminated' Lilly has created 'Memory'- a series of five new works exploring the link between photography and memory. A photo can prompt us to remember sensory experiences from a special day or inspire dialogue about how our memories differ from our peers. A photo may even help us build false memories when the original experience has faded away.
