Artist Name: stae

Stae was an over imaginative child who grew to fast through the 80's in Bristol South west England. His passion for drawing came at a very early age, being influenced by the works of family members who were pencil artists & a grandfather who built full size and model ships. Stae worked in Tattooing for various studios including his own before painting got a hold on him... Stae made the transition from ink to can after being a keen Bristol Graffiti follower for some time. The ability to work in many mediums including digital has allowed stae to have his work seen by a very large audience. Now with a presence on the internet, stae's traditional and computer illustrated work is popular with both UK and International audiences. Although he will tell you that the computer will never replace the feeling of paint on canvas or pen on paper, stae's ability to use the tools of both traditional and digital mediums has opened further windows of opportunity for him, and also given visitors from around the world the opportunity to discover yet another creative Bristol artist.
