Artist Name: Dale Grimshaw

Dale was born in Lancashire and studied at Blackburn College of Art - followed by a Batchelor of Art degree at Middlesex University.Dale won the Apthorp Fund for young artists and then went on to win the Liquitex Student Award in the USA. He has exhibited at the Academy of Arts in New York and in the Cable and Wireless exhibition in London. Dale also undertook extensive mural work in Cairo and also won a large commission to produce the biblical paintings for the Millennium Church in Dublin. In 2005 Dales work was featured in the TV show A Brush With Fame. In addition to this Dale illustrated various punk record coversDale had two solo shows , Echoes and Exorcisms and Heart at Signal Gallery Hoxton in London, in April 2008 and Jan 2009. Dale will be showing in a self portrait show Berlin in June 2009 with DFace, JR, Faile and Judith Supine and is currently in a group show in Philadelphia.
