Dino Richter

Dino Richter

Dino is a native Berliner. His mother sparked his interest in art at an early age. She regularly took
him and his sister to museums. She always encouraged her children and fostered their interest. In
Berlin’s Marzahn district, a rather drab area of the capital, there was little to be happy about, and
when they moved to Friedrichshain, a whole new world opened up for the teenager. When he first
tried his hand at graffiti in Marzahn, his motivation was “vandalism, more of a way to let it all out.”
He started making stencils, was enthusiastic about hip hop, and participated in graffiti jams. This set him apart from the average teenager in Marzahn.
