Dylan Barker

Dylan Barker is an illustrator, printmaker and mixed media artist based in Weston-super-Mare. His work explores the hidden stories of places, drawing on maps, folklore and local memory to create playful, narrative-rich imagery. Inspired by medieval cartography and the myths that once filled the unknown edges of the world, his practice invites viewers to look again at the landscapes they think they know.

Alongside his artistic practice, Dylan works extensively with communities, using creativity as a way of uncovering stories and strengthening connections to place. His work spans large collaborative projects, workshops, commissioned illustrations and hand-printed linocuts.
