Lorna is a visual artist working across installations, murals, costumes and interactive sculpture. Her practice explores nostalgia, our relationship with the natural world, and the power of participation. She creates freeing experiences that facilitate a space for play.
Through mural work, she transforms public space into immersive, playful environments, using large-scale painting to foster connection and shared experience.
Her visual language uses bold symbols to create magical words and imagined creatures. She is driven by a desire to depict the carefree spirit of summertime. Highlighting the beauty of natural landscapes, and the joy of long sunlit days spent gathering, dancing and being outdoors.
