Ruby Guymer-Parker

Ruby is a visual artist, printmaker, and photographer, based in Bristol since 2015. Originally from the Isle of Wight, she is drawn to the natural beauty found both within Bristol and its surrounding landscapes. Working primarily with bright colours and free-flowing shapes to create a sense of depth and texture, Ruby’s work reflects and takes inspiration from the natural world and the communities we live in.

Ruby’s academic background includes a BA in Drawing & Print at the University of the West of England, where her earlier work focused on the natural patterns and colours formed by fungi and microbiology. Her practice remains rooted in the enjoyment of the creative process, producing art that invites open interpretation.
