Mariemont Goddess
by Harry Grech

The people of Greece believed their Greek Gods lived upon Mount Olympus, the highest mountain in Greece. These Gods were similar to humans feeling love, happiness, anger and jealously with their mythological stories still being told to this day. They were said to have special powers and each was in control over different aspects of life and the world.

Unknown which Goddess the statue represents, this bust was found in Greece and is dated within the 4th Century BC.
