MYCORRHIZAL NETWORK
A public art initiative by Upfest Projects for Dandara, that brought together nature, creativity and community engagement at Stafford Yard and Southville Primary School. Thanks to Avon Wildlife Trust and the Bristol Fungarium for their support.
Inspired by underground mushroom networks, Bristol sculptor Tom Habben designed installations that highlight the invisible but important connections that bring communities together. Through workshops, school sessions and mentoring programmes, residents and young people have been involved in shaping the work, helping to build a stronger sense of place where everyone plays a role.
