Adam Beachey

I’m Adam, a self taught, Welsh illustrator based in Cardiff. I’m inspired every day to create. Always drawing or painting, I’m motivated by creating alongside others to make work to spark a conversation or raise a smile. My background and day to day life is in Science and Technology, so art is my escape to keep his mind active and curious outside work. Most of my artistic influence comes from classical painting, modern comic illustration and
printmaking. I’ve worked on a number of board games and freelance work in recent years, creating digital art, ink illustrations, oil and acrylic paintings. It’s my first time at Upfest so this is a challenge I’m excited for!
