Ben Summers is a British artist working between the UK and France, spanning painting, drawing, mixed media, and murals. His visual language is shaped by early influences such as graphic novels, noir cinema, album artwork, and the natural world. These continue to steer a practice rooted in transformation. At its core, his work explores the cause-and-effect relationship between humans and their environment.

Summers blends adapted fantastical imagery with grounded, real-world symbolism, creating scenes that feel both familiar and otherworldly. Colour and tone are central to his process, carefully developed to heighten mood and atmosphere, often resulting in striking, cinematic compositions.

Alongside exhibiting widely, over the years Ben has built a collaborative practice across disciplines, working with theatre directors, gallerists, interior designers, writers, and film producers.
