Emma Chippendale
Emma is a Freelance Multidisciplinary Artist and Designer based in Lincoln, currently serving as artist-in-residence at the Barbican Creative Hub.
Her practice is rooted in nature, driven by a passion for creating expressive, organic work that brings spaces to life. Working across large-scale installations, bespoke murals, and intimate feature walls, she explores how art can transform environments and foster meaningful connections between people, place, and the natural world.
A Fine Art graduate from the University of Lincoln, Emma was shortlisted for the Freeland Foundation Painting Prize in 2021.
She has exhibited nationally and collaborated on projects commissioned by organisations including Arts Council England, National Heritage, Doddington Hall, SO Festival, and Lost Village.
Recent highlights include bespoke interior Design for Stokes and creative lead direction for the phased refurbishment of Charlotte House Hotel Lincoln.
Her work goes beyond aesthetics, aiming to shift atmospheres, spark dialogue, and build community through thoughtful, sustainable creativity’
