Bristol’s histories of protest, resistance and public creativity collide in a powerful afternoon of film, sound, public art and creative disruption.
For one afternoon, Artivism x Upfest explores what civil rights means in Bristol today — and what it could become by 2029.
In partnership with Bristol Radical Film Club, the programme features films exploring the St Pauls Uprisings, a film with David Olusoga in conversation with Bristol Bus Boycott pioneers. Also, a preview of concepts and imagery from Ella-Mia Grant’s upcoming mural ahead of its live Upfest painting.
Expect rebel soundtracks, placard-making, and opportunities to help shape Bristol’s first Civil Rights Manifesto.
Suitable for all.
No booking required.
