You’ll be guided through the basics of setting wood type, learning how words can become image through layout, spacing, and composition. Using a selection of wooden typefaces available for the session, you’ll compose a short word (up to six letters), experiment with different arrangements, and print your design on our press, leaving with your own unique letterpress print.
This is a relaxed, exploratory session, ideal for anyone looking to try something new, get creative, and experience the tactile process of letterpress in a short but rewarding format.
