This two-hour linocut taster workshop at Frankenstein Press is designed especially for young makers aged 10–16. It’s a fun, hands-on introduction to the process of carving and printing your own design, with no experience needed.
Participants will be guided through the basics of using lino carving tools safely, learning how to translate an idea into a bold, graphic print. Once their design is carved, they’ll ink it up and print it using our etching press, creating their own unique linocut artwork.
This is a relaxed, exploratory session focused on making and discovery, perfect for anyone wanting to try something new and experience the excitement of printmaking in a short, creative format.
