Miami native Amanda Valdes' iconic macabre style is instantly recognizable and has made an impact on art collectors globally. Valdes’ art focuses on the female identity, primarily drawing inspiration from the depths of her imagination. Her iconic dolls share a common trait in that none of them are drawn with pupils, creating an even deeper mystery into “the windows of the soul”. In addition to traditional canvas, Valdes also creates large-scale murals, 3D sculptures, and illustrates and designs textile patterns. Valdes attended Florida Atlantic University and the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, where she studied Fine Art. She’s had several solo exhibitions, and is continually showing her work internationally. Valdes has collaborated with brands like Ford Motors, HGTV, Miami Dolphins, Warner Brothers, DC Comics, Macy's and more.
