Angry Dan

Angry Dan writes limericks and paints them as colourful public murals. He is inspired by science, nature, history, culture, and everyday life. His work has been commissioned by the Mayor's London Borough of Culture, UK City of Culture, and Arts Council England. His murals can be found in towns and cities across the UK, Europe, and North America. Dan has produced cultural content for the BBC and Soho Radio. He regularly hosts limerick writing workshops at schools nearby to where he is painting, which encourages the local community to further engage with his work. His murals have been described as “awesome” (Time Out) “truly amazing” (Secret London), and “vibrant colours and memorable rhymes” (BBC News). His animated short film, The Man Who Stood Still Forever, was described as '...ingenious' by The London Economic, and was selected for The Shortest Nights Film Festival.
