Beezer

World renown photographer Beezer, now an acclaimed music and fashion photographer in Tokyo, where he has lived for almost 20 years, left school in the early 80s with fairly low grades. He got on a photography course and started taking pictures of his friends on the emerging Bristol underground music scene at the Dug Out, The Crypt in St Paul's and at numerous illegal house parties.The resulting images are a unique record of the Bristol scene that revolved around The Wild Bunch and others which eventually produced Massive Attack, Tricky and Portishead.
