Kleiner Shames

Kleiner Shames was born in Oxford, England in 1988. 
At the age of 14, he started writing graffiti, which began his intrigue with lettering, shapes and composition.
His practice has developed independently through constant exploration of places and techniques for creating artwork. 
Kleiner Shames progressed to working from studios in Oxford, Bristol, London and now Penzance.
Using a process driven and hand-made approach, Kleiner Shames creates enamel paintings, wooden assemblages, concrete sculptures, screen prints and large-scale outdoor works - such as the 'Dazzle Ferry' commissioned in Falmouth 2019.
