Lost Dogs

Lost Dogs grew from one woman's love for mixed media mail art, and imaginary fauna.

With the motto "always lost, never sold", small paintings of these skinny, melancholy, postage-stamp-headed creatures were abandoned around the world, hoping to be found and adopted. They have since branched out onto ubiquitous stickers, and the occasional paste up - now Upfest 2018 will host the largest Lost Dog to date.

As well as the Lost Dogs, Sarah generally enjoys drawing, painting, monoprinting, collage and modifying action figures. Primary influences include Robert Rauschenberg, Francis Bacon, Dave McKean - and a lifetime of reading slightly odd comic books.
