Maisonbetty

Betty Freeman (Maisonbetty) is an illustrator, printmaker and muralist specialising in historical illustration. She works digitally to create narratives that add a contemporary feel to historical events with an evocative atmosphere and strong sense of place. She utilises traditional printmaking methods such as lino and screenprint to create pieces inspired by history and the natural world. She is also an experienced muralist, and has led creative workshops for educational facilities and private clients across Bristol and Wales​.
