Mary Rouncefield

I am a Bristol based artist, with a body of work concerned with human rights issues, particularly those affecting women and children. Currently I am also concerned with climate change, deforestation and the fate of indigenous peoples, because, as it is often said, ‘There are no human rights on a dead planet’. I am very pleased to be painting at Upfest this year as it is such an enjoyable community event. Over the past 20 years my art has been exhibited in Bristol, Bath , London, Manchester, Edinburgh, New York, Riga and Germany but Upfest is the most fun!
