Natasha Alger

Natasha (needle.wrks) is a Bristol based multimedia creative. She studied architecture at The University of the West of England and since graduating has designed interiors and shopfronts for hospitality venues across the country.

In contrast to her technical drawings, Natasha’s personal art practice has developed as a mix of folk and surrealism. She explores stories of place, things and community, creating narrative landscapes rich in colour, pattern and symbolism. Nature motifs feature heavily as markers of locality and time.

Following an extended period of travel, Natasha is turning her focus to stories of ‘Home’ and exploring how her art can combine with the experiential scale and dimension of her design work.’
