Ross Hendrick

Ross Hendrick

Ross is an artist whose work blends pop art, street art, and satirical illustration. With comic strips published in two of the UK’s most iconic comics, The Beano and Viz, his work is driven by sharp social observation and a distinctly sardonic sense of humour.

Growing up in a working-class environment, Ross often draws inspiration from everyday life on the council estate, capturing scenes and characters rooted in recognisable urban settings. His work reflects the humour, resilience, and absurdity found in ordinary moments of contemporary British life.

As a teenager he became involved in graffiti, and his natural inclination toward cartooning led him to focus on character-based imagery. This early immersion in street culture continues to shape his artistic language. Using materials such as spray paint and marker pens, he creates expressive figures defined by bold outlines, drips, and splashes that echo the immediacy of graffiti.
