UK Muralist - nicknamed whilst painting in Mexico, Rozalitas work embraces the saying “art is meant to comfort the disturbed and disturb the comfortable” its about finding ways to express the uncomfortable; highlighting the ever present juxtaposition of life/death/happiness and sadness - mutating and transforming, emotion and memory into symbolic pieces of work. Rozalita uses this language of painting as a way to connect to herself, the city and its people on a deeper level. Ever since picking up a spray can at 15 she has been hooked to the practice and just wants to keep getting better and paint bigger!
