Zubieta

Zubieta (Marta Zubieta) is a Bristol based multidisciplinary artist who explores beauty through sexy and creepy vibes using tropical and retro influences to mix human body parts with organic jungle and cosmic elements. Inspired by Tumblr gif artists collectives, electrocumbia rhytms coupled with southamerican chicha and sci-fi movies, her colorful illustrations tickles an optical festival for the mind willing to travel through the vines of a neptunian jungle.

Graphic designer and professional painter since 2012 she moved to Bristol in 2015 inspired by the arty and collaborative spirit of this city. She currently designs poster art and merchandising for Bristol and London music collectives, whilst also developing her own portfolio and the aesthetic universe of her music band Camo Clave, which is highly connected to the soul of her illustrations.
