Julian Kimmings & Lee Ellis Show

It's with great pleasure that the Upfest Gallery announces our second headline exhibition of autumn 2011...

'The Strange Case of Dr. Kimmings and Mr. Ellis'

Featuring the equally talented Mr Julian Kimmings and Mr Lee Ellis and a joint body of new works displaying their very different but complimenting styles.

Julian Kimmings - A graphic artist, inspired by ancient folklore and myth, combined with modern influences: Popular culture, art & design, graffiti and comic books. He Uses stories from the past to bring meaning to his artwork.

Lee Ellis - Faces, figures & furious brush strokes make up these dramit works. A refreshing, yet haunting painting style that one can only describe as refined brutality.

The exhibition opens on Friday the 21st of October and runs through to Sunday the 13th of November. To attend the launch night (21st of October) please RSVP to gallery@upfest.co.uk

Thanks to our drinks sponsor 'Glastonbury Ales' for their ongoing support.
