Yes we are back, upfest 2021 dates announced

We have some awesome news to share from here at Upfest HQ. We have been allocated dates from Bristol City Council for Upfest 2021. Subject to licence, funding and making the festival co-vid secure the festival will return to BS3 on the 5th & 6th of June, 2021, with an extended program starting a few weeks before this date.

The crew at upfest are currently working through all scenarios to bring you an amazing, creative and safe festival

Upfest will take over Greville Smyth Park, for the event’s first ever ‘green field’ festival, in addition to The Tobacco Factory, the original Upfest venue. The boards and canvases previously found across a multitude of South Bristol venues will be brought together for a final weekend-long celebration of street art in the spectacular park.

The street work traditionally painted during the festival weekend, will be created in the fortnight leading up to the festival weekend; giving people the chance to witness these spectacular creations come to life.

Artists who were successful in being allocated a space in 2020 will be given first refusal on returning to the festival next year. Further information for artists is available on out FAQ page here.
