What are the times?

Painting will happen between 8.30 and 6.30 every day
Workshop times see individual listings
Tobacco Factory Saturday Sessions Workshop and Painting 10am-6pm

How do I get there?

Walking: Bedminster and the festival is roughly a 30 min walk from Bristol City Centre, use the postcode BS3 1JF to find us.
Bike, or Dott e-scooter and e-bikes: there are bike racks opposite the gallery and along north street at various locations.
Train: The nearest mainline station is Bristol Temple Meads this is a 35 min walk to the gallery. Local line stations are Bedminster and Parson Street these are a 15 min walk
Bus: From Bristol city centre there is a bus service direct to North Street this is the number 24 and can be found outside the Sainsburys on Broad Quay.
Coach: The nearest coach station is Bristol central station this is a 35 min walk to the gallery.
Car Share: There are several car share websites available here are a few options. (gocarshare.com, blablacar.co.uk, liftshare.com)
Please note if travelling by car Bristol has a ULEZ system in place along with resident parking schemes please visit Bristol City Council website for specific information.

What is the best day to attend?

Check out the calendar to see what’s on each day and who is painting, Saturdays will be the busiest day with our Saturday sessions at the Tobacco Factory.

Where are the workshops held?

All workshops will be in BS3 -See individual listings for each venue

Is it inside or outside?

Painting is outside on the street or at the Tobacco Factory, Workshops are inside or under cover

Is food and drink available?

We are lucky to have amazing, cafes, bars and restaurants in the area, that offer a diverse range of different cuisines, catering for different diets

Can you bring your own food and drink?

Yes you can bring your own food and drink, there are multiple parks in the area that can be used for picnics.

Do I need a ticket?

No tickets are required to come and watch the artist create their masterpieces.
Bookings will be required for many of the workshops these are all free to attend. There will also be drop-in sessions available too. See individual workshop post for details. More info coming soon

How much does it cost?

The event is free to attend, as are the workshops

Where can I buy some artwork?

Artwork will be available to purchase from the Upfest Gallery, the Tobacco Factory, the Local and from our festival pop up shop (location TBC) . Alternatively, you can visit our online store

Toilets?

Public toilets are available at all venues

Are dogs allowed?

Yes, most venues allow dogs see specific venues for exceptions

Can I buy the artwork created at the Tobacco Factory?

Yes, more details about how coming soon

Is there music/ where is it located?

There will be music at the tobacco Factory on Saturday 16th, 23rd and 30th May

Can I buy spray paint?

Spray paint is available to purchase at the Upfest gallery (over 18s only)

Where can I get free water?

All venues will be able to top up your water bottle

Is it suitable for families?

Yes, the festival is family friendly
